The project examines the perspective of employers with regard to the retention of international students in Germany. As part of a factorial survey experiment, the employability of hypothetical applicants in various sectors and labor market segments is empirically examined. Acquired and ascribed characteristics are included, such as final grade, professional experience, gender or country of origin. The design allows in-depth insights into the significance of individual characteristics of graduates and the interplay with the characteristics of employers when successfully entering the German labor market. The main focus is on a comparative analysis of international and domestic graduates.
