6th GHPT: Concepts, Practices and Perspectives

At the cultural-historical symposium: "Concepts, Practices Perspectives - cultural-historical ideas for inclusive action" in May 2011, which took place as part of the 6th Görlitz Curative Education Days, Prof. Dr. em. Wolfgang Jantzen gave the keynote speech. In it, he traced the scientific path of the founder of the cultural-historical school, L.S. Vygotsky (1896-1934), and worked out how we can learn from him "how to do science."

The 5th Görlitz Curative Education Days dealt with the topic of "Inclusion -from vision to reality" . Due to developments in recent years, we felt it was important to create a space for discussion in the field of curative education.

4th GHPT: Curative education in the context of integrative living environments

The 4th Curative Education Days were held in the context of "10 years of studying curative education/disability education" at the Department of Social Work at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.

The focus was on social and socio-legal issues, the field of "psychiatry" for certified curative educators and theory-practice mediation.

3rd GHPT: The relationship between curative education and medicine

The Curative Education Days focused on fundamental biopsychological issues in curative education.

The problematization and reflection of theory-practice mediation in the relationship between curative education and medicine as well as the interdisciplinary cooperation with physicians and other therapists should take up a lot of space.

2nd GHPT: Dialogue and cooperation in the field of curative education

1st GHPT: The paradigm shift in curative education

The Görlitz Curative Education Days were held for the first time from May 24 to 26, 2001 by the curative education/disability education course at
of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.

The need for such a symposium is linked to the idea that serious changes have already taken place in the theory and practice of curative education in recent decades or that such changes were foreseeable.
