Office of Special Needs Education/Inclusion Studies

The international Bachelor's degree program in Curative Education/Inclusion Studies aims to ensure professional field qualification at a high professional level through a first academic professional qualification course. The permanent combination of theory and practice contributes to this. Theoretical study content with academic aspirations is tested for its applicability in a practical context and practical activities are supported by professional guidance and designed in a reflective manner. To this end, students enter into a continuous training partnership with practice partners from the second to the sixth semester.

During the practical phases, which vary in length, the partners give students the opportunity to work practically in their institutions and provide qualified and professional guidance.

Coordinated with the teaching and learning contexts offered within the university, the students are qualified during the practical phases under professional guidance to become professionally experienced, state-recognized curative educators.

The practical phases include accompanying theoretical courses (study days) at the university, which provide guidance for constant reflection on practical work and strengthen the students' practical skills with targeted method training.
