Since 2008, students of special education at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences have been practising "inclusive studies". Above all, this means that they recognize how normality is constituted, which defines and excludes otherness as such, and that they look for ways to think and design alternative measures, structures and behaviours in such a way that life opportunities can be opened up, expanded and facilitated. And in the spirit of "nothing about us without us", this cannot be achieved without the involvement of "experts in their own right"...
