When organizing the symposium "Concepts - Practices - Perspectives. Cultural-historical ideas for inclusive action" in May 2011, we established that cultural-historical theoretical approaches are contained in many places in inclusive studies in the BA in Curative Education/Inclusion Studies and the consecutive MA in "Management of Social Change", and indeed form a scientific-pedagogical root of inclusion. We want to pursue this root further in theory and practice, for example by receiving (reading and discussing) cultural-historical theory in depth and "applying" (testing and reflecting on) it in the context of our studies (case work, projects, BA thesis...).
"Time is money", as the neo-liberal saying goes, but personal and professional growth require open spaces and opportunities in which a conversation can be held and meaning can be generated. So give away your time (we usually meet once a month), drop by and join in the discourse on cultural-historical theory and inclusion!
