eLearning:
In order to participate in e-learning-supported courses, such as the OPAL learning platform or tele-teaching, students must meet the following PC requirements:
- current Flash plug-in,
- headset (loudspeakers, hands-free systems reduce sound transmission),
- webcam (if image transmission is desired; increases the intensity of participation and is recommended).

Detailed technical requirements for using the eLearning software can be foundat here.

The OPAL learning platform is used for (self-)organization of studies: http://opal.sachsen.de/. Students register there using the login they receive from the university upon enrolment. In OPAL, students can find, among other things, teaching materials provided by the lecturers. They can also use the platform to create their own working groups and exchange and work on learning material with other students. The Center for eLearning (Zfe) at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will be happy to answer any questions you may have about OPAL and e-learning.
