The Master's degree course is not only networked within the university with the BA degree courses at the Faculty of Social Sciences and other BA and MA degree courses (particularly at the Faculty of Management and Cultural Studies). There are also cooperative relationships with other colleges and universities in Saxony, other federal states and, above all, in Central Eastern Europe.
Work is underway to further develop and expand this network, with the aim of establishing relationships in the future, particularly with those degree programs with which an exchange in teaching and research is possible.
The most important links currently exist with the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNE, state of Brandenburg) and - as part of the newly founded university network "Civil Society" - with the universities in Munich (Munich University of Applied Sciences), Berlin (HTW), Mönchengladbach (Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences) and the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation.
In addition to the partner universities in Poland and the Czech Republic, there are foreign cooperation partners primarily in the Central and Eastern European region (including Wroclaw, Lodz, Opole, Vilnius, but also Korean partners).
In addition, there are close cooperative relationships with administrative, political, social, civic and economic actors in the region (namely the district of Görlitz, the city of Görlitz, actors in the third sector - such as Diakonie, Caritas, VdK etc. or the Bündnis Zukunft Oberlausitz).
