Here you can take another look at which speakers took part in the Alumni Conference 2022.

"Climate crisis and mental health - systemic perspectives"

Anna Georgi
Personnel and team developer, facilitator, systemic therapist
Maja Dshemuchadse
Professor of communication psychology and organizational consulting at the HSZG, systemic therapist

The complexity of the climate crisis, the social changes it has triggered and the challenges for people's mental health suggest that systemic perspectives should be used to overcome the crisis. So far, this has not happened enough in several areas (climate communication, politics, economic adjustments, etc.).
In order to close this gap for the psychological-counselling context, we build a bridge between systemic foundations and current research findings on the promotion of climate-friendly behavior. Building on this, we will outline the challenges of the climate crisis for mental health and use a case study to collect systemic explanations and solutions for constructive coping in systemic therapy practice. Finally, we will discuss three systemic dilemmas that are particularly prominent in the context of the climate crisis and mental health. Feel free to join the discussion!

"Insight into the systemic supervision practice of a communication psychologist"

Dr. Ute Günther
(SK97), systemic solution-oriented supervisor, mediator, project coordinator at the Saxon State Association for Health Promotion (SLfG e.V.)

During my studies in communication psychology, I attended an optional course on creative writing. One exercise was to keep a study diary containing questions, topics and ideas that occupied us during the semester. It was in these reflections that the idea of working as a supervisor first emerged (as I recently read in that same journal).
Now, almost 25 years later, I do indeed fulfill this role, first full-time and now part-time, and I can say that it was one of my best professional decisions.
I am happy to give you an insight into my supervisory practice, share my experiences in the areas of individual, case and team supervision in the social field, introduce you to supervision material that I enjoy working with and talk about the communication psychology models and guiding principles that are used in this context. And, of course, I'll let you ask me all sorts of questions...

"Psychodrama - a quick feel"

Anna Georgi
Training, coaching, supervision in the A&O area, systemic therapist
Jana Rupp - coaching and working in adult education, psychodrama practitioner, sex counselor

Developed by Jacob Levy Moreno and developed over decades, psychodrama is, among other things, an action-oriented method in which topics from the here and now are brought onto the stage, experienced and explored. Our small workshop is designed to let you experience what psychodrama can be and how it feels to work with it. In the best case scenario, you will also learn something about yourself. Please remember to bring your sense of humor.

"The I in the We: exploring our own needs and boundaries"

Laura Nowak
is a communication psychologist (Skb12) and subsequently completed her master's degree in dance and movement therapy and music therapy in Heidelberg.
Since December 2019, she has been working at Dresden University Hospital as a dance and movement therapist and music therapist in the field of psychosomatics and psychotherapy with young adults and adults.

Whether at work, in a partnership or friendship: it is often not so easy to feel or even represent your own needs in social situations.
In this workshop, we will use dance and movement therapy methods to embark together on a short journey into physical experience.
To do this, we will get moving ourselves, train our own perception and physical awareness, feel our own needs and give them space and practise setting and maintaining boundaries.

Please come to the workshop in comfortable clothing in which you can move freely.
We will move around the room on socks and sit on cushions and/or mats.

"Child sexuality - does it really exist and what is actually still "normal"?"

Cathleen Bornowski-Krautz
(graduated in 2006). Since 2015, she has also qualified as a child, youth, couple and family counselor and works as a pregnancy and pregnancy conflict counselor as well as in a parenting and family counseling center at Beratung + Leben GmbH in Berlin.

On the one hand, there is always talk of a "sexualized time in which we live" (keyword: advertising - "sex sells", porn - nowadays freely available on the Internet, various television formats - a la "Naked Attraction"), on the other hand, the topic of sexuality in private is actually talked about little or not at all. There seems to be a great ambivalence here, which poses a particular challenge for all those who have children of their own, meet children in their circle of relatives and friends or have to deal with them as a professional. What should you do if you suddenly find out about doctor games in kindergarten or your child regularly uses sexualized swear words? In this workshop, we want to deal with all these questions. There will be a keynote speech, small group work and, above all, time to discuss this seemingly ambivalent topic.

"Motivation in consulting and coaching"

Christine Bein
(graduated in 2012), Gerontopsychology (M.Sc.) in Chemnitz, since 09/20 further training in psychological psychotherapy (behavioral therapy). From 2012 to 2020 she worked for various educational institutions, since then she has been employed in a psychiatric day clinic. She has 2 children and lives in Torgau.

Most clients come to us because they want something to change, but it is often unclear what this means in concrete terms. There is motivation to seek counseling, but not always the motivation to change something about themselves and their own situation. Together, we want to look at what experiences you have already had with this topic, how it can be categorized theoretically and develop ideas on how we can help the client to develop and maintain more motivation to change.

"Advice without an advisor - collegial case consultation"

Michael Sommer
(SK08) is a supervisor/coach, communication trainer and lecturer for university didactics at TU Dresden.

Collegial case consultation is a good way to broaden the perspective in a problem case and to collect possible solutions. This form of counseling does not require an advisor, as a group advises each other (peer counseling). In this workshop, you will learn about the prerequisites for this, how it can work and the fascination of sharing thoughts.
