"How many professions fit into one job? - As a communication psychologist in game development"

Isabel Schmutz
(SKb17), graduated in 2021 (majoring in multimedia), working in video game development since 2020, currently working as a game designer and scrum master in Berlin.

This article sheds light on my career path and my work in video game development. It is intended to give students and interested parties an impression of how versatile the knowledge as a communication psychologist can be used and how diverse the possible job profiles can be.

(graduated in 2014, specializing in counseling psychology), M.Sc. psychology (HPSTS ; TU Dresden), working in management consulting in Berlin since 2017.

The aim of this article is to explain the role and field of activity of (communication) psychologists using a concrete practical example from organizational development.
Specifically, the article presents the occupational and organizational psychological support in the development of a hybrid work model of a company. In which an occupational psychological analysis of special requirements was carried out and corresponding recommendations for action were derived based on the current state of research. The project is embedded in the OE method "Appreciative Inquiry".

Let's take a look together at the tasks and challenges of HR management at AOK PLUS - Die Gesundheitskasse für Sachsen und Thüringen. After an overview of the methods, tools and topics used, we can discuss the challenges and the future of HR together. Of course, there will also be room for your questions.
The input and discussion will be provided by Katja Glaubitz, Head of HR Management at AOK PLUS. The division with its more than 80 employees looks after the 7000 employees of AOK PLUS in all matters of personnel management.

"From the art of teaching - insight into university didactics"

Martina Venus
(SKb14), M. Sc. Psychology with a focus on teaching, learning and skills development (specialization in developing potential in adulthood) at the University of Erfurt, currently working at the Bavarian Center for Innovative Teaching as a research assistant in university didactics.

During our studies, we experienced that different lecturers teach differently and that sometimes new teaching methods are used. However, few of us were aware that most colleges and universities have higher education didactics facilities that support teachers in the further development of their teaching activities. We were probably even less aware of this field as a professional perspective. This short presentation will introduce the professional field of university didactics. Psychology as an essential discipline of teaching-learning research is increasingly finding its way into university didactics and also offers an interesting professional market for us communication psychologists. We take a look at psychological elements of university didactics and the Bavaria-wide joint project "Improving the quality of digitally supported teaching at Bavarian universities".
