Self-determined life in old age through artificial intelligence

The AAL Lab at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is organizing a theme day on the use of artificial intelligence and assistance technologies in old age together with ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig in Leipzig.

The theme day on 21.03.2024 is aimed at senior citizens and representatives from the field of elderly care and offers a practical insight into the possible uses of artificial intelligence and assistance technologies for a self-determined life in old age.

The first presentation of the day will deal with the basics of artificial intelligence and big data and how senior citizens can use and benefit from them for a self-determined life in old age. Afterwards, participants will have the exciting opportunity to interact with an AI chatbot.

The second part of the event will focus on the use of assistance technologies and everyday helpers in the home. After a presentation by Professor Hoff, participants will be taken on a virtual tour of the AAL lab in Görlitz. Some of the technology can be tried out on site.

In addition to comprehensive information, the event will also offer participants the opportunity to try out the modern technology for themselves.

The theme day will take place on 21.03.2024 from 10:00 to 17:00
